I'm a QA Manager at QA Wolf, leading 3 QA engineering teams across web and mobile. Before tech, I spent eight years as an organizer, and that's where I learned how to lead people through hard deadlines.

Leadership
QA Engineer to QA Manager in three years. Today I run quality for 3 product teams and coach the people behind them.
What I do now
- Lead 3 QA engineering teams, each with a QA Lead reporting to me
- Manage 3 floating QA engineers and an automation engineer who cover cross-team priorities
- Set our test automation strategy and quality standards, with Playwright and JavaScript automation that scales
- Partner with engineering, customer success and sales so our quality work lines up with what the business needs
- Mentor QA Leads and engineers as they grow technically and as leaders
Where I learned it
As a field organizer, I managed five teams of organizers in training and coached more than 100 worker leaders at LaGuardia, Reagan National and George Mason University. As a representative for San Francisco city and county workers, I interpreted contracts and policy and negotiated better wages.
Organizing taught me how to earn trust with people who don't share my background and how to keep a lot of people moving toward one deadline. Turns out QA leadership needs the same things.
